Gary Fairchild, OTR

Born and raised in Galveston, Texas; Gary Fairchild graduated from The University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) in 1993 with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy. Realizing the tremendous learning opportunities, he began his practice at the inpatient rehabilitation center at UTMB. In 1997, he accepted a position at Christus Spohn Memorial Hospital, and moved to Corpus Christi. For the next seven years Gary treated patients with orthopedic and neurological trauma. In 2006, his unique experience prepared him to become the Director of Hand Therapy Services at a local rehabilitation clinic. For the next twelve years, Gary served the Corpus Christi community, treating patients with orthopedic and neurological hand injuries. He specializes in fabricating custom splints for patients with tendon repairs, ligamentous sprains, repetitive stress injuries, and cerebral vascular accidents. After twenty-nine years of practicing as an Occupational Therapist, he brings unparalleled experience as a private practice owner. Fairchild Occupational Therapy, LLC welcomes new and previous hand therapy patients. Gary is dedicated to providing excellent care and continuing to serve his community.
